Les Compositions Parfumees Silver Perfume by Lalique, Les Compositions Parfumees Silver is an aromatic chypre fragrance for women by Lalique. Introduced in 2015 as part of the Les Compositions Parfumees, this fragrance combines bright citrus florals with richer cool scents. The top notes in this fragrance are warm cardamom, tart lemon and green herbal thyme. At its heart are the green woody notes of galbunum and vetiver. The fragrance closes with notes of leather, patchouli and cistus, leaving the wearer with the powerful rich scent.Rene Lalique was a jeweler and glass artist from Ay, France. Lalique began his own jewelry design house in 1885, where he thwarted convention when he focused on beautiful design in his pieces instead of the number of jewels used. In 1907, Lalique entered into a partnership with perfume house Coty, making beautiful glass bottles for Coty to sell its fragrances in. Although Lalique died in 1945, he passed his talent to his descendents. In 1992, his granddaughter Marie-Claude Lalique, a glass artisan in her own right, began to produce her own fragrances under the Lalique name.
