Chain Mail Butchers Apron, Lamex, French Vintage Circa 1970
Old chain mail apron butchery, LAMEX top with straps.
RARE , Original complete with all its straps, Vintage French metal, which I believe to be stainless steel, butcher's apron. Measures approximately 23-1/2 inches Tall by 20 inches Wide.
Made by Lamex from hundreds of small circular metal plates that are connected by stainless steel rings, which gives the apron flexibility. Each individual metal plate is stamped "LAMEX, FRANCE ".
Complete with all its straps, the straps are detachable and adjustable.
The metal plates are in good condition; one single ring seems to be missing but can easily be replaced (see photos), the straps are dirty but functional and reliable.
Perfect for antique collectors (myself included), steampunk clothing addicts, modifying into medieval clothing or simply the butcher in the family.
