Flexible hard bound leather boards are made from soft supple maroon leather with gold gilt blind stamping to the spine and front cover. The spine has the title, author, and publisher as well as a decorative pattern. There is edge wear to the top and bottom of the back strip as well as the to the front and rear gutters. Front and rear boards are otherwise in beautiful condition with only the slightest of cosmetic blemishes. The corners are all slightly bumped with wear at the tips. The spine is straight, firmly attached to the decorative marble endpapers. Binding and text block are solid with gold gilt along the top page edge. Bookmark ribbon is intact but with fraying at the bottom. Interior pages are clean with no chips, tears, or previous owner marks. 285 pages. Dimensions: H – 6-1/4” W – 4”
