Second edition revised (two volumes in one) hardcover copy of The Trail Drivers of Texas compiled and edited by J. Marvin Hunter under the direction of George W. Saunders (Cokesbury Press, 1925). Richly illustrated and with photographs. Very rare antique book documenting a wide variety of true stories and accounts related to cattle driving, cowboys, ranching and trail driving in early Texas history.

Moderate wear to covers, especially around the edges. Corners bumped and worn. Bottom and fore edge of back cover darkened and slightly swollen due to liquid exposure. A few instances of split binding though hinges are secure and spine remains fairly straight. General loosening of binding on the whole. Previous owner’s inscription on fep. Some sparse underlining and margin notes. Liquid damage to bottom fore corner of text block, many pages with mild discoloration towards outer edges. Tanning pages. See photos for condition.
