An Illustrated History of Pornography Hardcover Book 1968 Erotic Abe Richards, Athena. This is an extremely well put together book which features little "true pornography" and instead does a splendid job of showing visual and written versions of human sexuality and morays throughout the ages. What the Romans and Greeks took to be natural, later Christians and Muslims of a more fundamental mindset, took to be evil pornography and obscenity. What was obscene and pornographic to the traditionalists of the 17th and 18th centuries now seems rather quaint and almost artistic. What is sure is that people have not changed in 40,000 years. Book in good condition for it's rarity. Has some water damage but doesn't effect the pages or content. see pics.
