CARL FISCHER bowl back mandolin with gorgeous floral wood inlays on the head stock, pickguard and along the back sides and bottom and mother of pearl inlay on the finger board. Estimated made around 1900's.
The mandolin is in very good to excellent condition for its age.
This all solid wood instrument appears to have long fine line surface scratches on the top and a few light marks and signs of wear over all from age and use.
The tail piece cover is removeable by sliding up to open for string replacements.

This beauty has a lovely sound.
The length is about 24". The body is 7.8" x 12 x 6"
The case is very beat up and worn out but will ship in it for protection during shipping.
