This is a cut crystal lay down decanter with a matching stopper. It has a flat panel-a spot to lay it down on, but it has been set down on other sides as well as evidenced by some scratching. The flat panel is scratched, and I will know more about how badly scratched it is once I’m finished cleaning it. The good news is most scratches don’t show when there is liquid in a decanter. And I hope cleaning the inside will clean up some of what
I do not yet see any markings on the decanter and the stopper is an exact match.
The decanter measures about 6.00 inches across the top, 6.75 inches up the side and 8.50 inches from the base to the rim. It is about 11.00 inches if it was standing up from base to the top of the stopper.
Weight is four pounds, ten ounces.
The decanter and stopper are beautifully and perfectly cut with no damage of any kind-other than those scratches on the base. I would advise future users to be more careful about what kind of surface this is placed on.
